Run Strong and Long
5 week training course for runners tackling bigger distances and more rugged trails.
Can you run a 10km trail, or maybe more, but would like to take on a longer distance at good pace? This is the training course for you.
We all find it difficult to keep going and not walk a bit when our heads get a little overwhelmed by the effort. We stop enjoying the trail and the journey. Over 5 weeks we will train our mind and our body to address this challenge. In week 6 we will have an optional challenge to take on together.
With the support of an experienced personal trainer and the group you will overcome your doubts and enjoy the run. You will have the confidence to take on new trails and challenges every time you run.
Our friendly coach will lead a weekly session, give you a simple training plan, talk about goals. The Group will keep you motivated through What'sApp chat and meeting up for runs outside the sessions with the coach. We will talk about shoes and kit! We also have a private FB group for chat and advice from more experienced runners.
We'll meet at the The Coffee Lodge, 69B Braid Rd, EH10 6JF, and if you want you can stay and chat afterwards over coffee.
Each session will be around 60 mins.
Start date: Wednesday 9th January 2019 @10am
- £65 for 5 sessions with a coach, training plan, WhatsApp group. Your sessions will ends on 6 February, this works out at £13 per session.
