Have you never really tried running but love being outdoors and the idea of feeling free? Are you looking for a friendly, fun group to support you to start running? Do you need some head space to cope with life’s challenges? Join us on a 6 week journey to get you up and running, and having fun.

You enjoy walking but can’t imagine how to up the pace and begin running. Let us guide you to build strength and endurance to start running and gradually increase how long you can run for. Over 6 weeks we will train our mind and our body to address this challenge. After six weeks we will take you on a social run in a beautiful place, and you will feel ready to explore more on your own, and with your new running friends.

With the support of an experienced personal trainer and the group you will overcome your doubts and enjoy the run. You will have the confidence to take on new challenges when you run and in daily life.

Our friendly coach will lead a weekly session, give you a simple training plan (based on running 3x weekly), talk about goals. The Group will keep you motivated through What'sApp chat and meeting up for runs outside the sessions with the coach. We will talk about shoes and kit! We also have a private FB group for chat and advice from fellow runners.

We'll meet in the field behind The Coffee Lodge, 69B Braid Rd, EH10 6JF.

Each session will be around 45 minutes apart from the last session which will be around 1 hour.

You can choose a Tuesday or Thursday sessions, or come twice a week.

Start date: Tuesday 12 January 9.15 am
No sessions in the week 8th February (school holidays)

- £80 for 6 sessions (6 hours)
- £150 for 12 sessions (12 hours) if you want to come twice weekly
The price includes the sessions with a coach, training plan, WhatsApp group.
and a free buff.
Tuesday sessions will end on Tuesday 23rd February
Thursday sessions will end on Thursday 25th February.

All our activities comply with Covid-19 guidelines and should the government guidelines mandate that our sessions can no longer take place you will receive a refund for the sessions remaining. Also should you be unable to attend due to Covid we will refund.
